Job Title: Lifting Inspection Engineer

Are you a skilled Lifting Engineer/Fitter looking for a new challenge? Do you have experience working with lifting equipment and a strong understanding of LOLER and PUWER regulations?

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Lifting Inspection Engineer to join our team at GAP Group LTD. As a key member of our TIC team, you will be responsible for the inspection, testing, and certification of lifting and working at height equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect and test lifting equipment to ensure compliance with LOLER and PUWER regulations
  • Conduct proof load testing of equipment such as runway beams, davit sockets, swing jibs, and lift shaft eyes
  • Repair and maintain lifting and working at height equipment
  • Produce detailed reports and certification for equipment
  • Provide expert advice to customers on the selection and use of lifting equipment

Requirements:

  • Experience working as a Lifting Engineer/Fitter is essential
  • Competent in the inspection of lifting equipment in accordance with LOLER and PUWER
  • LEEA qualifications are highly desirable
  • Ability to work on own initiative and assist other team members when required
  • A customer-focussed approach to workload and strong attention to detail
