Job Description

We are seeking a Principal Environmental Planner to join our dynamic planning team in Leeds. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for handling a diverse range of projects across energy infrastructure, waste and mineral schemes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and prepare planning applications and environmental impact assessments.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, local authorities, and stakeholders.
  • Be involved in land promotion, detailed development management, and project delivery.
  • Provide strategic and tactical planning advice to clients, undertake site appraisals, and manage sub-consultants.

Requirements:

  • RTPI qualified with a Degree/Masters in Planning (or equivalent).
  • Experience in the energy, waste, minerals, or commercial sectors.
  • Knowledge of the planning system and environmental impact assessments.
  • Strong communication and client relationship-building skills.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work collaboratively within a team or independently.

What We Offer:
