We are seeking a highly skilled and organised individual to join our team as a Costing and Administration Specialist. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing essential support to the Managing Director while taking on a variety of tasks and projects.
This is a full-time position working Monday to Friday 7:30am - 5pm, with a competitive salary range of $70,000 - $90,000 per annum, including medical insurance benefits.
The successful applicant will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and strong organisational skills, with the ability to meet deadlines while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail. Experience in the Timber industry would be an advantage, but is not essential.
- Carry out on-site inspections, measure and quote for farm buildings
- Assess damage to farm buildings and report to the relevant authorities
- Create and maintain spreadsheets, material lists, and detailed quotations for farm building projects
- Liaise with farm building contractors and sub-contractors
- Prepare and submit building consents and code compliance documents
- Coordinate with the Timber Purchaser, Yard Foreman, Truck Drivers, Yard Pre-Cutters, and Building Contractors to ensure smooth project flow
