Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled CNC Miller Setter to join our team at Bromford Precision Solutions. As a CNC Miller Setter, you will be responsible for setting up and operating 3-5 Axis CNC Milling/Turning Machines. Your primary focus will be on ensuring quality output and maintaining Total Preventative Maintenance (TPM) standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Use and control of CNC programs in accordance with relevant procedures.
• Ability to read and understand CNC code to the level required for machine set up and operation.
• Understand all set up parameters and the effect that they have on the process, for example, datum setting and tool length and wear offsets.
• Set up machines with the required work holding and tooling in accordance with relevant procedures.
• Working as a team to maximise machine utilisation.
• Working to structured manufacturing plan.

Requirements:

• 5 years experience in the Aerospace/Automotive Industry in a similar role.
• Apprentice trained preferred or demonstrated relevant experience.
• Working to production timelines in a manufacturing environment.
• Working with SOPs and Company specific documentation.
• Self-driven, results orientated, with a positive outlook.
• Able to get on with others and be a team-player.
• Attention to detail and accuracy at all times.
• Working to deadlines.
• Managing workload effectively, prioritising where necessary.
