Deputy Home Manager Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and proactive individual to join our management team as a Deputy Home Manager at The Oaks Care Home.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a confident and ambitious individual to develop specialist leadership skills in a truly beautiful and luxurious nursing and residential home.

As a Deputy Manager, you will work closely with our Clinical Home Manager and Clinical Nurse Lead to ensure our reputation for exceptional standards of care is maintained.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Clinical Lead Nurse and deputise for the Registered Manager in their absence
  • Offer supervision support and training to Nurse Senior Carer and Care Assistant colleagues
  • Ensure a safe, caring, stimulating, and homely environment for residents and their visitors
  • Support with recruitment and retention, including interviewing
  • Work to operational and financial KPIs, including supporting the Home Manager with regular reporting on areas such as occupancy, staff vacancies, and agency spend

Requirements

We are looking for applicants with:

  • Dedicated, proactive, and trustworthy individuals with proven supervisory experience in a residential or nursing care setting
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, as well as an enthusiastic and flexible approach to work
  • A good grasp of management reporting using basic Excel spreadsheets, etc.
  • A minimum of a Level 3 qualification in Health & Social Care and a willingness to undertake further qualifications if required by the business
