About the Job:
As a member of our dynamic team at Interior Health, you will play a vital role in supporting the independence and well-being of our community clients. Our Home Care Assistants work closely with Nurses and LPNs to provide personalized support services to clients in their own homes. This includes assisting with daily living activities, promoting maximum independence, and observing and reporting any changes in client behavior or condition.

Key Responsibilities:

• Providing personal care and daily living support to clients, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and oral hygiene

• Maintaining a safe and healthy environment in the home, including household duties and meal preparation

• Assisting with mobility and transfers, as needed

• Observing and reporting changes in client behavior and condition

• Performing delegated tasks according to training and procedures

This is a casual opportunity, with hours not guaranteed and shifts scheduled at short notice. However, casual employees are eligible to apply for internal postings, including permanent and temporary positions.
