Head of Procurement and Supply Chain

We are seeking an experienced Head of Procurement and Supply Chain to join our commercial team at Walter Lilly Careers in Ascot, Berkshire.

The Role

This permanent, full-time position offers a competitive salary of £70,000-£90,000 per annum, commensurate with experience. The successful candidate will be rewarded with a yearly discretionary performance bonus in December, car allowance, reasonable travel expenses, 26 days annual leave per annum increasing with service, Bank Holidays, two paid volunteering days per annum, private medical insurance, personal accident cover, pension scheme, high-quality training, continuous personal development opportunities, reimbursement of fees for one relevant professional body membership, and flexible and hybrid working patterns where appropriate.

Key Responsibilities

  • To lead the procurement and supply chain function, ensuring effective management of suppliers and contractors.
  • To develop and implement strategic procurement plans that align with business objectives.
  • To negotiate contracts with suppliers and contractors to secure best value for the business.
  • To manage and maintain accurate records of procurement and supply chain activities.
