Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing the preparation of moderate to large accounts, including related tax computations
  • Preparing monthly management accounts and VAT returns as needed
  • Handling complex client queries and offering practical solutions
  • Reviewing the work of team members before submission to the manager
  • Mentoring junior staff and providing feedback on their performance and work quality
  • Ensuring assignments are completed within agreed time frames and budget constraints

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • ACA or ACCA qualification - part-qualified applicants welcome
  • Previous experience in an accountancy practice, including preparation of statutory accounts and tax computations for healthcare clients
  • Current knowledge of VAT regulations
  • Client-facing experience
  • Experience with Xero, Sage and QuickBooks Online
