About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Risk Manager to join our Rail Consultancy business and work on some of the UK's largest infrastructure projects. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with exciting clients from various sectors, including highways, aviation, new build, and utilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement effective risk management processes, ensuring full integration with other project management and control disciplines.
  • Support the Service Capability Leader for Risk Management in developing service capability, including risk analyses, quality assurance, and drafting reports.
  • Provide risk management services to clients in compliance with client governance, processes, and objectives.
  • Undertake day-to-day risk management activities, including identification, assessment, management, review, and reporting of risks and opportunities.
  • Develop and implement risk management plans within projects.
Requirements
  • A relevant professional qualification, such as APM Risk Certificate or IRM Certificate.
  • Experience in the construction or infrastructure sectors.
  • Experience in applying Quantitative Risk Analysis (QRA) techniques and tools, including @Risk, Primavera Risk Analysis, and Safran.
  • Knowledge of Enterprise Risk Management tools, including Active Risk Manager, Predict, and Xactium.
  • Understanding of construction contracts and the relationship between risk management and controls/management functions.
