Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualized support to students with Special Educational Needs, promoting their academic and personal growth.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to develop and implement effective support plans.
  • Assist with lesson planning, preparation, and delivery, ensuring that students receive a high-quality education.
  • Support students with challenging behaviors, using positive reinforcement techniques and de-escalation strategies.
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues, maintaining a professional and respectful demeanor.
Requirements:
  • Relevant experience working with students with Special Educational Needs.
  • Strong knowledge of safeguarding and child protection policies and procedures.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, communicating effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Flexibility and adaptability, with a willingness to learn and develop new skills.
  • Competitive pay rate: £76.92 to £103.04 per day, based on experience.
