About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Class 1 Driver to join our team at DFDS UK & Ireland. As a Class 1 Driver, you will be responsible for safely operating Class 1 vehicles to transport ferry trailers to various locations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work Monday - Friday nights, 45 hours per week
  • Operate Class 1 vehicles to transport ferry trailers to various locations
  • Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations
  • Perform checks of the vehicle before and after each journey
  • Load and unload cargo with care and precision
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers, team members and customers
About You

To be successful in this role, you will need to have held a Class 1 Licence, CPC, DIGI card and experience transporting ferry trailers for a minimum of 2 years. You must also possess good customer service skills as this is a customer-facing role.
