Job Overview

EG Group is seeking an experienced Senior Management Accountant to join our Country Finance Team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing dedicated accounting support, producing monthly management accounts, and contributing to key financial close and day-to-day activities.

As a Senior Management Accountant, you will be an essential asset in supporting the Financial Controller & Finance Manager in driving forward projects, achieving business objectives, and leading the team to success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.
  • Prepare and present financial reports, including monthly management accounts, profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Perform management accounting duties, including posting key journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Identify areas for improvement and implement robust processes.
  • Support with financial internal & external auditors.
  • Assist with year-end statutory accounts.
  • Develop and maintain robust processes and controls in line with Group requirements.

Requirements

  • Qualified Accountant - ACCA / ACA / CIMA or equivalent.
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical and technical skills.
  • Confident communicator with the ability to build rapport and work with senior stakeholders.
  • Pro-active work ethic with high productivity.
  • Proficient in accounting software & creating reports.
  • Adaptable and open to changing priorities.
