Key Responsibilities:

  • Organize and set up the assigned section of the kitchen to increase speed and maximize productivity.
  • Ensure all dishes from that section are prepared consistently and according to standard recipes.
  • Assist in ensuring culinary standards comply with company and hotel policies.
  • Monitor food and operating costs, controlling waste and reducing expenses.
  • Train kitchen porters in section-specific skills.
  • Work in various kitchen sections as needed or requested by senior staff.
  • Maintain high sanitation standards in the kitchen.
  • Be familiar with all kitchen sections for flexible use of colleagues.
  • Ensure equipment is well-maintained with minimal breakage.
  • Provide excellent customer service to the restaurant delivery team.
  • Meet set ticket times and communicate any delays.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Prior kitchen experience is preferred.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS while using initiative to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
