Accounts Senior Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Senior to join our team at Bennett and Game Recruitment LTD. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning the workload for the accounts team, ensuring that monthly targets are met, and preparing statutory accounts and corporation tax returns.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and manage the workload for the accounts team
  • Ensure timely completion of monthly targets and deadlines
  • Prepare and finalize statutory accounts and corporation tax returns
  • Assist management in finalizing accounts and providing support to junior team members
Requirements:
  • 4+ years of experience working in an accountancy practice environment
  • ACA/ACCA qualified or part-qualified
  • Previous experience using IRIS (preferable)
  • Excellent attention to detail and written/verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work well within a team and deal with clients confidently
What We Offer:
  • Competitive basic salary of £35,000-£40,000 (dependent on experience)
  • 30 days annual leave (including bank holidays)
  • 37 hours per week
