Time Commitment: Flexible
The Befriender 'In Home' Volunteer will play a vital role in providing companionship to someone we support in Leatherhead, spending quality time with them in their home and engaging in activities they enjoy. These may include chatting over a cup of tea, reading books, playing board games, or simply being a friendly presence.
Key Skills and Qualities
- To be kind, empathetic, and friendly
- To have a good sense of humour and enjoy chatting
- To be punctual and reliable
- To be able to handle confidential information in line with our data protection procedures
