**Job Summary**

Agility Resourcing is seeking a highly motivated and ambitious Management Accountant to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for providing financial analysis and reporting to support business decision-making.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Prepare and review financial statements, including profit and loss accounts, periodic budgets, cash flows, variance analysis, and commentaries.
  • Prepare and review accounting entries for input to the management accounts, including capital expenditures, depreciation, accruals, and prepayments.
  • Review and check the fixed assets and inventory system locations and calculations.
  • Reconcile bank, VAT, and balance sheet accounts for associated companies.
  • Provide a support service by working with all departments and the management team to help make financial decisions, particularly interpreting financial information for non-financial managers.
  • Assist in the preparation, monitoring, and reporting of budgets and financial forecasts, and work with departmental managers to ensure spend is kept in line.
  • Improve the accuracy of cash flow forecasting.
  • Correctly recognize and balance intercompany accounts.
  • Improve turnaround times for month-end processing.
  • Improve the quality of information provided for year-end.
  • Support the finance team and provide cover for other team members.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of double-entry bookkeeping and accounting standards when posting entries and resolving problems.
