We are seeking a skilled interpreter to join our team of freelance interpreters working with various public and private sector organizations across the UK.
As a freelance interpreter, you will have the opportunity to work with a range of clients, including the NHS, Local Authorities, Police, Probation, and other public and private organizations.
Our team provides professional interpreting and translation services to the public and private sectors across the UK, covering hundreds of languages and dialects.
Key responsibilities include:
- Interpreting for individuals using legal, health, and local government services
- Ensuring the non-English speaker's understanding after each sentence
- Conference, consecutive, and public service interpreting
- Dealing with highly confidential information
- Liaising between the service user and service provider
Requirements:
- Fluent in English and another language
- Right to work in the UK
- Aged 21 or over
- Formal qualifications such as Diploma in Public Service Interpreting (DPSI), Community Interpreting, or Degree in Translation/Interpreting/Languages
