Job Title: Trainee Paraplanner

Location: North Leeds

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £23,000 - £30,000 per annum

Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Trainee Paraplanner. As a Trainee Paraplanner, you will work alongside our experienced team of administrators and Senior Paraplanner to support our Wealth Managers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure clients' investment transactions are carried out accurately
  • Assist with meeting preparation and provide technical information and reports to advisers
  • Prepare suitability letters and reports
  • Transact client investments, protection, and mortgages
  • Research and document clients' current arrangements
  • Obtain and maintain detailed client information
  • Provide an efficient, friendly, and professional point of contact for clients and enquiries

Requirements:

  • Working towards DipPFS qualification or intending to start studies imminently
  • Some paraplanning or report writing experience
  • SJP Back Office Systems and Advice Framework knowledge and experience
  • Understanding of regulations and products, and their practical application
  • IT proficiency and ability to build, manipulate, and understand Excel spreadsheets
  • Excellent English language and grammar skills
  • Highly organized, methodical, and disciplined
  • Self-motivated
