We are seeking a dedicated Maths and English Tutor to join our team, providing 1:1 tuition to students in Rothley and surrounding areas.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with children who have SEN/ SEMH needs or looked after (LAC) and be able to build effective working relationships with students.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a tutor who wants to make a real difference in the lives of their students. With a lighter workload and less paperwork, you'll have more time to focus on what matters most - delivering high-quality education to those who need it most.

As a Maths and English Tutor, you'll work with primary or secondary children who may have SEN/ SEMH needs or looked after (LAC). You'll provide educational sessions face-to-face with children at their homes or a public space, such as a library or community centre.

You'll need to:

  • Have QTS or be a Higher Level Teaching Assistant or SEN/ SEMH experience
  • Be highly engaging and able to build effective working relationships with children
  • Manage and implement a range of behaviour strategies

We offer competitive pay rates of £25-£30 per hour, paid weekly. As a valued member of our team, you'll also have access to free safeguarding and CPD courses, as well as free access to assessment tools and resources.
