Job Role: Field Service Engineer (Hydraulic, Mechanical Systems)
Location: Basingstoke, Berkshire (Accepting Applicants from surrounding counties)
Salary: £33,000-£35,000 base salary (OTE £42,000-£60,000 pa)
Hours: Monday-Friday + Door to Door Paid + Overtime @ 1.5x
Job Type: Full time, Permanent

The client:
Interaction have partnered with a rapidly expanding, rewarding and innovative organisation to support the growth of their engineering team. Due to continuous growth, we are looking for a skilled electromechanical engineer interested in learning, developing and progressing within the industrial cleaning machinery sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Attend breakdowns, service and PPMs on industrial scale compactor systems within the waste management industry.
  2. Use manual hand tools, electrical hand tools, lifting equipment and hot working tools.
  3. Carry out electrical, electronic, mechanical fault finding alongside elements of hydraulic systems.

Requirements:

  1. Electrical, electrical and/or mechanical fault finding, repair & service experience would be advantageous.
  2. Previous experience with MIG/TIG Welding is advantageous but not essential.
  3. A good level of electrical or mechanical knowledge, similar roles could include plant engineer, maintenance engineer, hydraulic engineer, pneumatic engineer, mechanical fitter, forklift engineer.
  4. Experience using electrical & mechanical tools.
  5. Previous experience as a mechanical, electrical or field-based engineer. Any experience surrounding hydraulic systems/hoses, mechanical fault finding & repair alongside some base electrical work.
