Role Overview

As a Senior Market Development Representative at Sierra Nevada Brewing Co., you will be responsible for growing sales and market share by leading our wholesaler management efforts and retail execution within your assigned area. You will work closely with our national account team to execute in off and on-premise accounts according to our standards and expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute strategies to increase sales and market share in your assigned area
  • Manage assigned wholesalers and provide exceptional service to ensure they become our preferred supplier
  • Collaborate with our national account team to execute promotional activities and ensure brand standards are met
  • Provide weekly written recaps to wholesalers and our team of business results, opportunities, and assigned accountabilities
  • Assist in the 'Due Diligence' Process for wholesaler transitions and operate effectively within brewery and budgetary guidelines

Requirements
  • Associate's Degree or equivalent experience required; Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • 2 years sales experience preferred, with previous experience in the alcohol beverage industry a plus
  • In-depth knowledge of state and federal liquor laws required
  • Demonstrated ability to consistently achieve business plan goals, including volume, distribution, and profitability
  • Strong organization and time management skills, with excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to interface with various levels of management at retail and wholesale levels
