We are seeking a skilled physiotherapist to join our team at St George's University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, empathetic physiotherapist with oncology and haematology experience to work in a supportive therapy team across various clinical settings.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality physiotherapy assessment, treatment, advice, and discharge planning for patients with haematology, oncology, and infectious diseases. This will involve working across inpatient and outpatient settings, as well as participating in evidence-based projects and leading departmental audits in the clinical area.

To succeed in this role, you will need a degree or equivalent in physiotherapy, with evidence of continued professional development, including recent postgraduate courses relevant to the clinical field. You should also have a recognised postgraduate qualification, such as leadership training, and a minimum of 1 year's NHS experience (including undergraduate experience).

A minimum of 4 years' postgraduate experience, with at least 2 years in haematology and oncology, is required, as well as a broad range of experience at Band 5 and 6 level, including respiratory, neurology, and musculoskeletal specialties. You should also have knowledge and experience of managing haematology and oncology patients, demonstrated by advanced clinical reasoning, as well as experience of managing other physiotherapy staff and supervising students/clinical education.

The salary for this role is estimated to be around £40,000-£60,000 per annum, depending on experience. We offer a range of benefits, including flexible working hours, car driver requirements, and opportunities for professional development and growth within the trust.
