This is a part-time permanent position with an estimated salary of £17.42 per hour, based on the industry standard for housekeepers in the region.
About the Role:We are seeking a skilled and experienced Housekeeping Associate to join our team at Château de Mercuès. As a key member of our housekeeping staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and maintenance in our public areas and guest rooms.
Your duties will include:
- Cleaning and tidying public areas, including lounges, corridors, and other high-traffic areas;
- Maintaining the cleanliness and organization of guest rooms, including making beds, changing linens, and replenishing amenities;
- Restocking guest room supplies, including toiletries, towels, and other essentials;
- Engaging with guests to ensure their needs are met and they have a comfortable stay;
- Reporting any maintenance issues or concerns to the housekeeping manager.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently as part of a team. You should also be physically fit and able to lift heavy objects, as cleaning and maintaining our facilities can be physically demanding.
