Job Summary:

Apollo Recruitment Solutions Ltd is seeking a skilled Warehouse Operative to join our team. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Unload and load customer goods carefully, identifying any damages or missing items
  • Scan and put deliveries into correct run locations
  • Ensure all items are scanned correctly and loaded as per load plans
  • Follow procedures for unloading vans each night, signing off correctly, and complete the warehouse sweep to ensure no items left in the warehouse
  • Keep the warehouse tidy at all times

Requirements:

  • Relevant experience in a similar role or a background in working within a process-oriented environment
  • Demonstrated capability to work effectively with minimal supervision
  • Strong communication abilities
  • Proficient in time management and planning
  • Possession of an FLT (Forklift Truck) license is preferred, although a training arrangement can be made to obtain one

Benefits:

  • Competitive hourly rate of £12.50
  • Paid weekly
  • Temp to perm opportunity with a permanent contract available
