About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Psychiatry Doctor to join our team as a Bank Resident Medical Officer (RMO). This is a fantastic opportunity to work flexibly within a dynamic mental health service, providing high-quality care to patients.

Your Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough mental state and physical health assessments of service users.
  • Ensure seamless handover of patient information to colleagues.
  • Take a lead role in managing any physical health concerns that arise during inpatient stays.
  • Gather collateral history from other professionals and family members.
  • Complete comprehensive admission assessments promptly.
  • Collaborate effectively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure patients have access to appropriate medical treatment, including referrals to local A&E departments when necessary.
  • Participate in monthly clinical and managerial supervision sessions.

About You

You will be a fully registered GMC doctor with experience working within psychiatry teams. A strong commitment to teamwork, communication, and providing excellent patient care is essential.
