Salary Information

The estimated salary for this role is up to £33,736.50 per year, with opportunities for progression through the pay scale based on your performance and experience.

About the Role

This full-time position involves working as a Dialysis nurse in our Carmarthen Dialysis Unit, which operates 30 haemodialysis stations, serving up to 120 patients, in partnership with Swansea Bay Trust using only the latest equipment. You will be responsible for the assessment of care needs and the development, implementation, and evaluation of care for dialysis patients with chronic kidney disease or acute kidney injury.

Nursing is planned at a ratio of 3:1 patients, and you will be supported by Healthcare Assistants (HCAs) on each shift. The unit operates Monday to Saturday, with shifts between 6.30am and 5.30pm.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • NMC Registered Nurse (General/Learning Disability/Mental Health)
  • Experience in renal nursing (desired but not required)
