Early Years Teaching Assistant

We are seeking an experienced Early Years Teaching Assistant to join our team at a Primary School in Lewisham, South London. As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with class teachers to support the learning and development of children in the Early Years setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with class teachers to provide individualized support to students, tailored to their unique learning needs.
  • Engage with students in small groups or one-to-one, promoting their academic and social growth.
  • Support children with additional learning needs, such as ASD, ADHD, and other learning difficulties.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Prior experience in childcare or school-related roles, such as babysitting, tutoring, coaching, or previous teaching assistant positions.
  • A valid and up-to-date Enhanced DBS on the Update Service.
  • A strong passion for education and working with children.
