Job Overview

As an Academic Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the effective delivery of teaching programmes in line with our education strategy and aims for an outstanding student experience.

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced lecturer to contribute to the design, development, and implementation of innovative teaching practices across our centre. The successful candidate will have a strong background in business and financial accounting, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

The salary for this role is up to £33.57 per hour, depending on your qualifications and experience. You will be required to work variable hours, up to 25 hours per week, as a permanent member of staff at our Leeds International Study Centre.

About the Role
  • Provide academic coordination for designated modules as a module coordinator.
  • Participate in regular meetings with teaching and support staff to ensure effective overall management of programmes and student life cycle.
  • Contribute to the design, delivery, and development of modules offered by our centre.
  • Deliver and assess provision, preparing module examinations and other forms of formative and summative assessment.
  • Update and maintain our Virtual Learning Environment (VLE).
  • Liaise with our Student & Academic Services team to deliver induction, orientation, and registration programmes.
