Learning Support Assistant

As a Learning Support Assistant - SEN, you will be an integral part of our team, working closely with teachers, parents, and external professionals to ensure students receive the best possible support.
Job Description:
- Support students with SEN in achieving their full potential through tailored support and accommodations.
- Assist the class teacher in planning and delivering lessons that cater to diverse learning needs, promoting inclusivity and accessibility.
- Collaborate with the teaching team to develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and monitor student progress.
- Manage challenging behaviors effectively, using empathetic strategies and maintaining a positive learning environment.
Essential Requirements:
- Experience working with children with SEN in a UK school setting.
- Good understanding of strategies for supporting students with additional needs, such as Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, or speech and language difficulties.
- Strong literacy, numeracy, and ICT skills.
- A DBS on the update service.
