Ainscough Crane Hire is seeking an experienced Crane Supervisor to join our team at our Aberdeen depot. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a pivotal role in directing and supervising lifting operations, ensuring the highest standards of safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities:- Direct and supervise lifting operations in accordance with Method Statements.
- Interpret Risk Assessments and associated drawings.
- Provide clear instructions to the lift team.
- Assess and halt operations if necessary, referring to the Appointed Person.
- Adhere to BS7121 parts 1 and 3 standards.
- Continuously seek improvement opportunities to enhance operational efficiency.
- Valid CPCS A62 Crane Supervisor (Blue Card)
- Previous experience in Crane Supervisor and Appointed Person roles.
- Ability to produce Risk Assessments and Method Statements.
- Strong knowledge of BS7121 parts 1 & 3.
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Confident decision-maker with the ability to challenge senior staff when necessary.
