About the Job

In this role, you will be responsible for leading our sales efforts in the UK defence market, identifying new business opportunities, developing strategic partnerships, and growing our presence in key markets. You will work closely with our sales team to drive bid success rates and deepen relationships with our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Sales Leadership**: Lead our sales efforts in the UK defence market, driving business growth and expansion.
  2. Market Analysis**: Conduct thorough market analysis to identify new business opportunities and areas for growth.
  3. Partnership Development**: Develop and nurture strategic partnerships to drive business growth and expansion.
  4. Customer Engagement**: Engage with customers to understand their needs and deliver value-added solutions.
  5. Event Representation**: Represent Concurrent at networking and sales events, promoting our brand and solutions.
Requirements
  1. Defence Market Expertise**: Demonstrate a deep understanding of the UK defence market, including its commercial terms, conditions, and common requirements.
  2. Relationship Building**: Show us how you've turned better relationships into new business, highlighting your ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
  3. Sales Experience**: Share your best direct and/or channel sales experiences, focusing on long-term programs and demonstrating your ability to drive sales growth.
  4. Commercial Knowledge**: Let us know about your knowledge of the market commercial terms, conditions, and common requirements.
  5. Communication Skills**: Showcase your very strong written and person-to-person communications skills, highlighting your ability to effectively communicate with customers and stakeholders.
  6. Embedded Computing Knowledge**: Highlight any knowledge of embedded computer hardware & software, either as a buyer or seller.
