Job Title: Senior Structural Engineer

FM Conway Ltd is seeking an experienced Senior Structural Engineer to lead our prestigious projects and mentor our brilliant engineering professionals. As a Senior Structural Engineer, you will work collaboratively with internal and external clients throughout the project lifecycle, providing technical and quality compliance through proactive technical solutions and designs.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop structural designs for concrete, steel, timber, and masonry materials.
  2. Create structural designs for permanent and temporary works, adhering to relevant design standards and codes of practice.
  3. Conduct structural assessments of all forms of structures, including highways and buildings.
  4. Support local authorities in their asset management strategies by leading inspections of highway structures and site surveys.
  5. Manage health and safety during the design and construction phases.
  6. Assist with the preparation of tender documents by preparing fee proposals and quality statements.
Requirements:

We are looking for a passionate and driven Senior Structural Engineer with experience in developing highway designs in accordance with the DMRD, LCDS, and TSRGD. You will hold a BEng/BSc in Civil Engineering or equivalent and have experience in highway engineering. You will also be a Chartered member of the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE) or Institution of Structural Engineers (IStructE).
