How End, Central Bedfordshire, United Kingdom IOTA Foundation Full time
About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated DevOps Manager to join our dynamic team at the IOTA Foundation. This role is pivotal in ensuring the deployment of resilient TWIN infrastructure, both internally and in collaboration with partners.

TWIN is a digital infrastructure for international trade, powered by IOTA technologies. It enables governments and industry to build digital twins, digital product passports, and collaborate on digital trade data sharing. The infrastructure includes features like digital identity for organisations, tokenised assets, W3C technical standards, and follows international data standards.

The aim is to solve some of the most pressing and highest value-for-cost challenges globally; frictionless global trade. Removing red tape at the borders, creating supply chain visibility for better planning, ensuring better product traceability, building carbon metrics into our supply chains, and enabling easier access to trade finance.

You will be working fully remote with team members globally, including staff from partner organisations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with software engineers to create deployable infrastructure.
  • Work with 3rd parties to help with deployments.
  • Troubleshoot production incidents promptly.
  • Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
  • Automate deployment processes.
  • Monitor system health and performance.
  • Ensure security best practices are followed.
  • Document deployment processes so they can be followed by 3rd parties.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 4+ years of experience in DevOps.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash, or PowerShell).
  • Experience with containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Strong understanding of CI/CD principles.
  • Knowledge of infrastructure as code (Terraform, Ansible).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Passion for learning and staying up-to-date with industry trends.
Desirable Skills
  • Certification in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Experience with serverless architecture.
  • Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, ELK stack, etc.).
