About the Company:

MTrec Ltd Technical is a prestigious Engineering client based in County Durham, committed to growth and expansion. We are seeking a skilled Instrumentation Maintenance Technician to join our team and contribute to our mission to deliver high-quality test equipment and exceptional customer service.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in electronics, calibration, instrumentation, or a similar field, with experience in the Instrumentation Industry or previous repair experience in an electrical/electronic role. A HNC in electrical/electronic engineering or a similar discipline is required, as well as sound knowledge of Microsoft Office and quality standards/systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Repair units to component level
  • Provide detailed calibration certificates
  • Source equipment specifications when necessary
  • Improve test techniques and increase parameters
  • Maintain high quality levels throughout
  • Provide the administration team with timely data
  • Maintain and safeguard the integrity of test equipment and company standards

Requirements:

  • HNC in electrical/electronic engineering or a similar discipline
  • Experience within the Instrumentation Industry or previous repair experience in an electrical/electronic role
  • Ability to repair to component level
  • Ability to read circuit diagrams
  • Good soldering ability
  • Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of quality standards/systems

Estimated Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 per annum
