We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our client's care team on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing leadership and support to the care staff, ensuring the highest standards of care are delivered to our service users.
Key Responsibilities- Provide leadership and guidance to the care staff, promoting a positive and supportive work environment.
- Develop and maintain skills at a current level, undertaking training and development as required.
- Manage the service in accordance with agreed standards, ensuring the needs of service users are met.
- Undertake care planning activities, taking into consideration the physical, psychological, and social needs of service users.
- Ensure care plans are developed in collaboration with service users, their families, and the multidisciplinary team.
- Manage medicine management in line with legal, professional, and regulatory requirements.
- Promote and safeguard the welfare of service users, ensuring their rights and dignity are respected.
- Good English written and verbal communication skills.
- Registered with the relevant body, e.g. NMC.
- Level 1 Registered Nurse Qualification.
- Previous experience of working in similar environments.
- Previous experience of working in similar supervisory roles.
- Experience of working with service users, particularly those with additional support needs.
- Knowledge of rota planning, ensuring adequate staff on duty with the correct skill mix and fair allocation of off-duty/annual leave.
- Hourly pay rate of £23.00.
- Permanent staff, full-time position.
- Five days over a seven-day period, as agreed with the manager.
- Opportunities for training and development.
