Job Title

Clean Energy Senior Associate - £120,000 - £150,000 per annum

The Role

We are seeking an exceptional Clean Energy Senior Associate to join our dynamic and growing team in London. As a key member of the practice, you will play a pivotal role in advising clients on a variety of legal issues, including:

  • Project Development: Structuring and negotiating renewable energy projects, from development to financing and operation.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensuring compliance with relevant energy regulations, policies, and market rules.
  • Mergers and Acquisitions: Advising on the acquisition, disposal, and joint ventures of renewable energy assets and businesses.
  • Financing: Structuring and negotiating debt and equity financing arrangements for renewable energy projects.
  • Litigation and Dispute Resolution: Handling disputes related to renewable energy projects, including contract disputes, regulatory challenges, and claims for damages.
Responsibilities

You will be responsible for:

  • Providing high-quality legal advice and counsel to clients on clean energy matters.
  • Assisting in the structuring and negotiation of renewable energy projects.
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant energy regulations and market rules.
  • Advising on mergers and acquisitions, financing arrangements, and litigation matters.
  • Working effectively as part of a team to deliver excellent client service.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong understanding of renewable energy technologies, markets, and regulatory frameworks.
