An exciting opportunity has arisen for a seasoned procurement professional to join Diomed Developments Ltd. as a key member of the Purchasing & Supply Team. This role offers a challenging and rewarding experience, overseeing activities related to supplier management and driving improvements in performance, cost, and quality.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and third-party manufacturers to drive change projects and deliver service, quality, and efficiency enhancements.
  • Collaborate with the Purchasing and Supply team to optimize cost, relationship, product specification, and performance value across the entire supplier base.
  • Evaluate and develop supplier KPIs, assessing quality, OTIF, pricing, and customer service.
  • Implement and manage supplier risk management processes, including contingency plans and alternative supplier options.
  • Plan and execute a rolling portfolio of supplier improvement projects.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience working with suppliers in a regulated environment, preferably in the Pharmaceutical and Medical Devices sector.
  • Strong communication and project management skills, with the ability to use MS Project or similar tools to deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with solid reporting skills throughout the course of a project.
  • Sound knowledge of MS Office packages, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Estimated Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum
