About the Role

The Mechanical and Electrical Asset Manager will be responsible for all M&E Assets, infrastructure and associated service management across the West Mercia Police and Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Estates.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive industry best practice across Mechanical and Electrical estate assets including Statutory Compliance and Health and Safety process and policy.
  • Implementation and management of annual 12 month PPM planner for all M&E assets across all buildings on the West Mercia Police (WMP) and Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service (HWFRS) Estate.
  • Oversee contracts with service providers for M&E services. Ensure that contracted services meet quality standards and are delivered within budget and SLA.
  • Monthly reporting of all M&E planned and reactive maintenance from CAFM system and other FM data to ensure monthly reporting to central senior stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Qualified to degree level in mechanical, building services, electrical engineering or equivalent experience.
  • Demonstrable expertise in hard Facilities Management in a multi-site blue light or commercial environment.
  • Excellent knowledge of asset management and planned maintenance systems and protocols.
  • Minimum of 10 years multi discipline Mechanical and Electrical systems and Engineering experience with 5 years in a senior role managing M&E professionals.
What We Offer

The salary range for this role is £58,191 - £64,644 and you will also be enrolled on to a local government pension scheme.
