Tutoring Role Overview: We are looking for a qualified tutor to join our team as a Learning Mentor for Secondary and Primary Students. As a Learning Mentor, you will work with students in Putney, creating personalized lesson plans and adapting your teaching methods to meet the unique needs of each student.

This is a contract role that involves delivering 1:1 tailored lessons to bridge gaps in KS1 - KS4 pupils' education and boost engagement and attainment levels. The ideal candidate will have QTS or equivalent, UK classroom teaching experience, and experience working with SEND or disengaged pupils.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver tailored lesson plans for secondary and primary aged students.
  • Work with students who require additional support to reintegrate into mainstream education.
  • Provide a supportive and inclusive learning environment.

Requirements:

  • QTS or equivalent
  • UK classroom teaching experience
  • Experience working with SEND or disengaged pupils
  • Enhanced child barred list DBS certificate
  • Right to work in the UK

  • Duration: Until the pupil can reintegrate into a new school placement

  • Minimum rate of pay: £22+ per hour
