We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Mental Health Assistant to join our team at Academics Ltd. As a Mental Health Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting children with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs in a specialist school setting.
About the Role:- Support children with SEMH needs in a primary phase setting
- Work alongside trained therapists, counsellors, and psychologists to provide high-quality care and support
- Assist in creating a safe and nurturing environment for children to thrive
- Develop and implement strategies to promote social, emotional, and mental well-being
- Graduate in Psychology, Counselling, or Criminology (or related field)
- Experience working with children with SEMH needs (desirable)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Competitive daily rate (£80-£95)
- Full-time position (Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 4:00pm)
