Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Operative to join our team in Yeovil. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely operating a Counterbalance Forklift, efficiently loading and unloading vehicles, accurately locating stock, and conducting safety checks before operating the Forklift.

About the Role:

This is a temporary position with the potential for permanence after 12 weeks, provided the individual demonstrates exceptional skills, reliability, and ability to integrate into the team culture. A valid forklift licence (ideally pivot steer) is essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate a Counterbalance Forklift
  • Efficiently load and unload vehicles
  • Accurately locate stock
  • Conduct safety checks before operating the Forklift

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have experience working in a warehouse environment and hold a valid forklift licence. Some lifting may be involved when picking and palletising pails up to 25kg.

Working Hours:

This role will require you to work from 8 am to 4:30 pm, Monday to Friday.

Salary:

The estimated salary for this role is £28,000 - £32,000 per annum, depending on experience.
