Main Responsibilities:

  • Leading and directing a multi-disciplinary engineering team to deliver a technical solution for a designated area.
  • Implementing and complying with applicable safety, environmental, and quality procedures, policies, and legislative requirements relevant to the area.
  • Developing, owning, and executing design engineering elements of the schedule and estimate for the area.
  • Managing scope and Design Change for the Area.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 8 years of experience working in an engineering design environment with significant knowledge of engineering principles.
  • Recent experience working within a regulated and quality-assured system (preferably nuclear) where professional engineering judgement is key.
  • Essential qualifications include a Higher Education Qualification in Engineering (or Equivalent), subject to a minimum HNC level, and appropriate institution membership.

Salary and Benefits:

  • An estimated salary range of £70,000 - £90,000 per annum, depending on experience.
  • The opportunity to work with a reputable client in the nuclear sector.
