We are seeking a highly motivated Engineering Project Director to lead and direct a multi-disciplinary engineering team in the nuclear sector. As part of this role, you will be responsible for delivering a technical solution for a designated area, ensuring it meets corresponding requirements, performance conditions, and constraints.
Main Responsibilities:
- Leading and directing a multi-disciplinary engineering team to deliver a technical solution for a designated area.
- Implementing and complying with applicable safety, environmental, and quality procedures, policies, and legislative requirements relevant to the area.
- Developing, owning, and executing design engineering elements of the schedule and estimate for the area.
- Managing scope and Design Change for the Area.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 8 years of experience working in an engineering design environment with significant knowledge of engineering principles.
- Recent experience working within a regulated and quality-assured system (preferably nuclear) where professional engineering judgement is key.
- Essential qualifications include a Higher Education Qualification in Engineering (or Equivalent), subject to a minimum HNC level, and appropriate institution membership.
Salary and Benefits:
- An estimated salary range of £70,000 - £90,000 per annum, depending on experience.
- The opportunity to work with a reputable client in the nuclear sector.
