Electrical Maintenance Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Imerys. As an Electrical Maintenance Specialist, you will be responsible for providing electrical support for all key fixed plant and equipment at our Devon Ball Clays operations.
Key Responsibilities:- Carry out planned, scheduled routine and reactive maintenance, including fault finding, diagnostics, and rectification work.
- Maintain plant availability at high levels through planned routine maintenance and reaction to breakdowns.
- Perform calibration, preventive, corrective breakdown work on instrumentation and control gear.
- Work on Lighting and Low Voltage distribution equipment.
- Routine preventive, corrective & breakdown maintenance of electrical systems, including fault finding & diagnostic works.
- Able to work on 3 phase Motors and Control Gear.
- Complete health and safety documentation in line with company policy and procedures.
- Ensure all work areas are clean and free from hazards.
- Equivalent of 25 days holiday plus Bank Holidays (pro rata'd for shift workers).

- Recognised electrical and or multi-skilled indentured apprenticeship qualified to NVQ Level 3.
- 18th Edition Wiring Regs experience.
- Experience in Electrical systems maintenance in an industrial operations environment.
- Hold a current full driving licence.
- Awareness of PLC and Variable Speed Drives.
- Working knowledge of the Management of Health and Safety at Work regulations.
- Demonstrate a willingness to undertake further training as and when required.
