Join Our Team as a Culinary Support Team Member
At HC-One, we believe in the power of kindness. As a Culinary Support Team Member, you will play a vital role in our Dementia, Nursing, Residential, and Specialist care homes, ensuring that our Residents receive the compassionate care they deserve. Every team member understands that our Residents are individuals with unique stories, and your contribution will help enhance their quality of life.
In this position, you will assist in the preparation and serving of nutritious meals that our Residents will enjoy. You will uphold the highest standards of cleanliness, food safety, and hygiene. Your responsibilities will include maintaining food supplies, monitoring fridge and freezer temperatures, and training new staff on equipment usage. Above all, you will prioritize the well-being of our Residents in every task you undertake.
We are looking for a Culinary Support Team Member who has some kitchen experience. Ideally, you will possess an NVQ2 in Catering or Food Preparation, or be eager to pursue this qualification. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential, as is the ability to follow recipes accurately. Your interactions with Residents and colleagues will be characterized by genuine consideration and kindness.
Safeguarding is a fundamental responsibility for all staff members. It is crucial that you can identify signs of potential abuse, harm, or neglect and know the appropriate actions to take if concerns arise. All team members are required to participate in safeguarding training relevant to their roles and to seek guidance when necessary.
We provide comprehensive training, making this an excellent opportunity to expand your skills. In return, you will have access to a wide range of benefits and services designed to support your physical and mental well-being, including:
- Part-time position with 19 hours per week
- Competitive hourly rate based on experience and qualifications
