We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Ecologist to join our team at INCA Ltd (Industry Nature Conservation Association Ltd). As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring good ecological outcomes within a complex of SPA bird designations, SSSI saltmarsh and dune communities, alongside habitats ranging from ancient woodland and previously developed open mosaic habitats, to intertidal mudflats and species rich meadows.

• Lead ecological projects through planning, completing Habitat Regulations Assessments, UK Habitats classifications for BNG, and dealing with designated sites legislation.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with industry, regulators, and other local environmental organizations.
• Contribute to the development of our ecological services, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and expertise.
• Collaborate with our team to deliver high-quality ecological reports, proposals, and project management services.

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant subject.
• Good ecological field skills covering a range of protected species and habitats, including UK Habs, BNG, and HRA.
• A sound understanding of the legislative and planning policy framework as it relates to ecology and nature conservation.
• The ability to write concise, high-quality, technical reports in line with CIEEM guidelines.
• Experience in Habitats Regulations Assessment and Biodiversity Net Gain.
• Experience of writing fee proposals, project management, and client liaison.
• Good commercial awareness.
• BSBI FISC (Level 3 or above).
