**About the Role:**

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Clinical Orthopaedic Specialist to join our team in the Orthopaedic Department. As an Orthopaedic Registrar, you will play a vital role in the assessment and treatment of patients referred to hospital acutely with orthopaedic problems.

This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside a supportive team of medical professionals, enhancing your trauma and elective surgical exposure and experience in our state-of-the-art orthopaedic theatre.

The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing and treating patients with orthopaedic problems, attending outpatient clinics, theatre, and clinical meetings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assessment and treatment of patients with orthopaedic problems
  • Attending outpatient clinics, theatre, and clinical meetings
  • Enhancing trauma and elective surgical exposure and experience

Requirements:

  • Suitable for Resident Medical Officers PGY3 or above
  • Completed a placement within Orthopaedic surgery
  • Registered, or eligible for registration, with the Medical Council of New Zealand
