About the Role:
We are seeking a highly organized and communicative Patient Navigator to join our administrative team at OneMedical Group. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our surgery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet patients and visitors, advising them of their appointments and checking them in
- Manage patient inquiries with professionalism and empathy
- Schedule appointments and manage the appointment calendar effectively
- Handle prescription requests from patients and pharmacies
- Deal with patient queries in person, over the phone, and via email
- Handle and accurately record incoming and outgoing correspondence, including letters and emails
- Ensure the reception area is left tidy and ready for use by other colleagues, together with any hand-over information
- Complete the surgery administration, including registrations and deductions
Requirements:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Attention to detail and accuracy in handling patient information and administrative tasks
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and demanding environment
- Desirable: prior experience as a patient navigator
- Proficiency in basic computer skills and familiarity with office software
