Nuclear Instrumentation Specialist

The Senior Service Engineer will be responsible for maintaining, servicing, installing, and commissioning radiometric and dosimetry systems at customer sites. This role comes with a salary of up to £70,000 per annum.
The Senior Service Engineer will report to the Service Manager and be responsible for:
Performing routine maintenance and calibration of various instruments at customer sites.
Providing breakdown support for a range of instruments, sometimes within 24 hours.
Keeping accurate records of all work, including data sheets and project files.
Acting as a representative, promoting the products and services when engaging with customers.
Assisting the sales team by providing support for quotes.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with nuclear instrumentation and/or radiometric physics, as well as previous experience in mechanical or electronics work. They will also have the ability to read and understand both mechanical and electrical drawings, and experience with mechanical fitting and electrical wiring. A technical qualification in engineering, electronics, or a related field is preferred but not essential.
