Pharmacy Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pharmacy Technician to join our Anticoagulation Team as a specialist in medication management. The successful candidate will work closely with our pharmacist-led team to provide high-quality patient care and support the development of our anticoagulation services.
Key Responsibilities- Support the pharmacist-led anticoagulation team with clinic services, providing follow-up telephone consultations and counseling to patients.
- Work collaboratively with the multi-disciplinary team to maximize efficiency and safety in patient care.
- Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure accurate and timely medication management.
- Supervise and train other pharmacy staff, including assistants, student technicians, and trainee pharmacists.
- Communicate effectively with patients, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless care coordination.

Requirements- NVQ level 3 or Apprenticeship in Pharmacy Services
- Registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPHC)
- ACPT accredited or willing to work towards qualification
- Previous hospital pharmacy experience, including audits, training, and counseling patients
- Ability to work in an organized and calm fashion in a busy environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
