We are seeking a professional and experienced educator to join our team as a Technical Skills Trainer. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with a strong background in construction and engineering to share their expertise and passion with students.
Job Description
As a Technical Skills Trainer, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality training programs in various subjects, including fabrication and welding, electrical installation, mechatronics, carpentry and joinery, construction, motor vehicle, mechanical engineering, and plumbing. You will work closely with our clients to understand their training needs and develop customized programs that meet their requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver training programs in various subjects to students in further education
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their training needs
- Design and deliver customized training programs that meet client requirements
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in construction and engineering
Requirements
- Teaching qualification or Assessors award
- NVQ Level 3 qualification in the relevant subject specialism
- Industry experience and up-to-date knowledge of industry trends
- DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for a new one
